PURPOSE: An autonomic U-turn guiding method is provided to reduce travelling time and cost by guiding autonomic U-turn if a route link exists within a corresponding route after searching the route. CONSTITUTION: An autonomic U-turn guiding method comprises following steps. The route search for destination is enabled(S101). The distance of the overlapped route is calculated by checking the overlapped route from the current position of the vehicle to a U-turn spot. Autonomic U-turn is guided if the distance of the overlapped route exceeds prescribed distance.
