METHOD FOR PREDICTING BENDING LIFE OF WIRING HARNESS

PURPOSE: A method for predicting the bending life of wiring harness is provided to predict the position of short-circuit and the durability life of wiring harness caused by repeated bending of an automobile movement unit through a non-linear analysis. CONSTITUTION: A finite element model of wiring harness is formed(S20), and a stress is calculated through a non-linear analysis according to the operation of wiring harness(S30). The virtual durability life of the wiring harness is predicted through the searching of generation location of maximal stress. The actual durability life of the wiring harness is measured through a disconnection life expression of the wiring harness(S70), and the matching is evaluated by comparing the virtual durability life with the actual durability(S80).
