A reception unit detects a received signal that indicates an incoming call or message. An identification unit identifies type of movement or position of the device based on the delivered signal subsequent to the detection of the received signal. An implementation unit implements a function e.g. communication establishing function, associated with the received signal and dependent on the identified type. An independent claim is also included for a method for implementing a function in an electronic communication device.
