PURPOSE: A processing method of a waste organic solvent is provided to easily separate a solid portion contained in the waste organic solvent using a cross linking reaction, and to recycle the waste organic solvent with high yield. CONSTITUTION: A processing method of a waste organic solvent comprises a step of adding a cross-linking agent to the waste organic solvent including a solid portion, and separating the solid portion with the waste organic solvent by cross-linking and curing. The waste organic solvent is generated from the process of producing a semiconductor or a display. The solid portion includes photoresist and a novolak resin. 1~1000 parts of cross-linking agent by weight is added for 100 parts of solid portion by weight included in the waste organic solvent. The cross-linking agent includes a compound having more than two reactive functional groups.
