PURPOSE: A method of controlling a traffic signal at an intersection is provided to implement smooth traffic flow at an intersection by effectively controlling the traffic flow. CONSTITUTION: A first traffic light(A) and a second traffic light(B) are installed in an intersection. Second sensing information corresponds to the number of stopped vehicles in order to enter a command that changes the first traffic signal and second traffic signal green. The second sensing information and the first sensing information are compared with each other. The first sensing information corresponds to the number of stopped vehicles in order to enter a command into the first traffic signal. The green lamp of the first traffic lamp is controlled by comparing the first sensing information with the second sensing information.
