<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a video processing apparatus allowing each user connected to a system to recognize that an input video signal is not supported. <P>SOLUTION: When an input video signal is not supported, a video signal to be supplied to a display or an external apparatus is output as a signal which cannot be displayed properly. The video signal generates a disordered video image due to out-of-synchronization or the like.
