PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly prevent the imprudent opening of a door in case of an unlocking operation regarding a lock device for the door. SOLUTION: The lock device for the door includes: a latch 6 including: the latch 3 being engaged with a door frame 2 in a projecting posture from the door 1 and unlocking an engaged state with the door frame 2 by a sinking into the door 1 with a door-opening operation; and a latch stopper 5 being driven by an actuator 4 and maintaining a door-closing state by controlling the sinking operation of the latch 3 at a locking position and conducting a locking. The lock device further includes: a contact sensor 8 being arranged to a door-operating handle 7 and detecting an operation by an operator for the door-operating handle 7; and a lock controller 9 driving the latch stopper 5 making it a condition that an authentication to a latch-stopper unlocking authority in the latch 6 for the operator is formed. The lock controller 9 includes an unlocking-condition decider 10 using the detection of the operator by the contact sensor 8 for a fixed time after the formation of the authentication as the condition of the unlocking driving of the latch stopper 5 in addition to the formation of the authentication.
