<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser padding apparatus for valve seat formation which can improve the positional accuracy of a laser padding to the valve seat part of a cylinder head. <P>SOLUTION: By means of a transfer robot 62, a guide hole 40 of a valve stem corresponding to the valve seat part 18 of the cylinder head 10, on which a padding is formed by a laser beam irradiation apparatus 52, is inserted to a positioning pin 38 of a positioning mechanism 32 provided in a supporting device 30. The cylinder head 10, on which the padding is formed by the laser beam irradiation apparatus 52, is pulled out from the positioning pin 38 of the positioning mechanism 32 provided in the supporting device 30. Then, the cylinder head 10 is made to be away from the supporting device 30 so that the positioning pin 38 of the positioning mechanism 32 provided in the supporting device 30 is inserted into the guide hole 40 of the valve stem corresponding to the valve seat part 18 of the cylinder head 10, on which the padding is formed by the laser beam irradiation apparatus 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
