<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid machine and a manufacturing method therefor fixing an intra-vessel fixing member to a sealed vessel accurately and satisfactorily while a strain generated in the intra-vessel fixing member is suppressed to possible minimum. Ž<P>SOLUTION: At least a recess 80 is formed in an appropriate place on the periphery of one of a main shaft frame 18 and a compression unit 30, and the periphery of a trunk part 4 facing the recess is pressed by a revolving roller 92 for rolling process to cause plastic deformation for formation of a projection on the trunk part, and the projection is fitted in the recess, and the main shaft frame is secured to the trunk part.
