摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold structure to which external force is selectively and actively applied to a part thereof which is a faulty section of close adherence state and which can maintain a uniform and stable, close adherence state, and to provide an imprint method and a magnetic transfer method that use the mold structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The mold structure includes a disc-shaped base material, and a concavo-convex portion on one surface of the base material, with the concavo-convex portion being formed by disposing a plurality of convex portions, with the surface as a reference. The mold structure includes a member which is extendable and contractible by the external force. Preferably, one embodiment in which the member extendable and contractible by the external force is provided on a surface of the mold structure on which the concavo-convex portion is not provided, and one embodiment in which the external force is either a magnetic field or an electric field, one embodiment in which the member extendable and contractible by the external force is either a piezoelectric element or a giant magnetostrictive element, and the like.
