<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a napped pile fabric having bulkiness, a soft feeling and napped feeling, and free from a see-through property of the ground, and to provide the napped pile fabric having abrasion resistance even when using ultrafine fibers comprising splittable type conjugated yarns, and further withstanding uses as a skin material for vehicular seat sheets having high designability by carrying out etching processing, and embossing processing with abrasion resistance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The napped pile fabric includes pile yarns implanted in the ground weave prepared by weaving weft yarns in warp yarns. In the napped pile fabric, the conjugated yarns comprising non-latently crimpable textured yarns and latently highly crimpable textured yarns having different percentage crimps are used as the pile yarns to carry out finish processing comprising a heat-treating step of developing crimps of the latently highly crimpable textured yarns.
