<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder capable of surely opposing force from a sending object medium, when receiving the force from the sending object medium placed with an abutting part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This feeder 70 has a first lever 81 rocking in the thickness direction Z of the placed sending object medium P, the abutting part 83 arranged on the first lever 81, a second lever 41 rocking by motive power, a tooth part 43 arranged on the second lever 41, a tooth-shaped structure part 86 arranged on one surface of a guide part 85 of the first ever 81 and formed of a plurality of teeth, and a smooth part 87 arranged on the other surface separate from the one surface of the guide part 85, and is constituted so that when the second lever 41 rocks the first lever 81, the tooth part 43 moves along the smooth part 87, and when the abutting part 83 receives the force F from the sending object medium P, the tooth part 43 meshes with the tooth-shaped structure part 86.
