摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear medicine diagnosis apparatus manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: A detector ring 1 includes: a plurality of detectors 12 arrayed on a circumference around a specimen P. Each detector 12 has: at least one scintillator 14 for receiving annihilation gamma rays emitted from a radioactive isotope in the specimen P, and generating scintillation light; and at least two photoelectron multipliers 16 provided at both ends of the scintillator 14 in the direction of a central axis A of the detector ring 1, receiving the scintillation light, and generating electrical signal. The scintillator 14 has a strip shape, is disposed so as to make its longitudinal direction correspond to the direction of the central axis A. The scintillator 14 can secures a wide imaging field of a view FOV in the direction of the central axis A without arraying a plurality of the detector rings 1 in the direction of the central axis A.
