When the star-up of an output device (1) is detected, a responding input request screen for requesting an input device (2) to respond is displayed on the started-up output device (1). Upon receipt of the response from the input device (2) through the displayed responding input request screen, the responded is made to be corresponding to the output device (1) that displayed the responding input request screen. Furthermore, during such a period that the responding input request screen is displayed on one of the output devices (1), the other output devices (1) different from the one of the output devices (1) are set not to display a responding input request screen.
