<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator suppressing an increase in manufacturing cost and increasing detection accuracy; and to provide a fuel injection valve using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric actuator 22 for controlling opening/closing driving of a needle 12 of the fuel injection valve 2 includes a piezoelectric unit 23 formed by laminating piezoelectric element layers 61, 71, 81, and internal electrode layers 62a, 62b, 72a, 72b. The piezoelectric unit 23 includes a drive section 70 extended by application of a voltage and a load sensor section 60 detecting a load generated from the drive section 70. A connection layer 80 is provided between the drive section 70 and the load sensor section 60. Both the polarity of a drive section-side terminal inner electrode layer 73 of the drive section 70 on the side of the load sensor section 60 and the polarity of a sensor section-side terminal inner electrode layer 63 of the load sensor section 60 on the side of the drive section 70 are negative. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
