<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin printing plate on which gradation pattern having continuous gradation expression is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a gradation resin printing plate includes: an original image acquiring step in which, in an original image acquiring part, an original image is acquired of a gradation pattern to be provided for a resin plate material and in which the original image is acquired that is converted to digital data or preliminarily formed into digital data; a machining data preparation step in which, for the purpose of imparting continuously gentle difference in height to the gradation expression in the digital data, on the basis of a gradation reproducing curve showing contrast between an image density in the original image and an image density in a printed matter prepared based on the original image, the gradation range of the digital data is corrected and in which machining data is prepared in a data form that can be output in a laser machining part; a laser machining condition setting step in which, on the basis of the machining data, a machining condition is set and transmitted to the laser machining part; and a laser beam machining step in which a laser machining region in a resin plate material is irradiated with a laser beam from the laser machining part in accordance with the machining data and laser machining condition, thereby forming the gradation pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
