<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly electrify replenished toner and to uniformize the toner concentration of a developer, even when an image is formed at higher speed, in a developing device using the developer including toner and carrier. <P>SOLUTION: In the developing device 4, a developer conveying and supplying part 42 and a plurality of developer conveying parts 44 to 47 are partitioned by a partition wall 48, the developer conveying and supplying part 42 stirring and conveying the developer d including toner and carrier by a stirring and conveying member 52, to supply the developer d to a developer carrier 41 and the plurality of developer conveying parts 44 to 47 stirring and conveying the developer guided to a discharge port 42a on the downstream side of the developer conveying and supplying part by the stirring and conveying blades 54a to 57a of stirring and conveying members 54 to 57. In the developing device 4, introducing parts 49a to 49c for guiding the developer to the next developer conveying parts are provided on the downstream sides of the respective developer conveying parts, a return port 42b for returning the developer to the upstream side of the developer conveying and supplying part is provided on the downstream side of the final developer conveying part, and further, a retaining means for retaining the developer in the introducing parts is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
