Provided is a gas diffusion layer for a fuel cell. The gas diffusion layer is comprised of a porous member that includes, as main components, conductive particles such as acetylene black or graphite, and a polymer resin such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Accordingly, the electricity generating performance of a fuel cell is improved, and the cost of the fuel cell is also reduced.
