SYSTEM FOR HYPOXIC STERILIZATION, PRESERVATION, TRANSPORTATION AND MANAGEMENT OF BODY TISSUE TO BE USED IN REGENERATIVE MEDICINE

Proposed is a novel system whereby a body tissue or the like having been collected for various purposes can be preserved, transported and managed within a desired period of time while adequately preventing the proliferation of contaminating microorganisms. A body tissue or the like is collected and then held at a predetermined position in a storage box (3) which is provided with a holding means and vacuum-sealable. After tightly sealing, the storage box (3) is evacuated to a degree of at least about -20 KPa to prevent the proliferation of various contaminating microorganisms or the like thereby maintaining the body tissue or the like in the state immediately after collecting. Next, the inner space of the box is filled with an inert gas such as nitrogen gas and sealed, if required. The inside of the storage box is cooled to a predetermined low temperature and then this sealed and cooled state is continued by an appropriate means.
