<p>The plate heat exchanger (10) has two groups of passages (14), by which two fluids are flowing, so that heat exchange between two fluids takes place. A header (26) is provided for former group of the passages. A structure producing a pressure loss in the fluid stream is arranged between a distributor (22) and former group by passages adjacent to the distributor.</p>
