TS SIGNAL DELAY DETECTING AND ADJUSTING METHOD AND APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TS (Transport Stream) signal delay detecting and adjusting method and apparatus also including clock signal processing in a terrestrial digital broadcast transmission system improved in characteristics and performance.

SOLUTION: An apparatus 200 for detecting and adjusting a delay time of an inputted/outputted TS signal detects a delay time difference between TS packets of a TSP counter added to the TS packets of the TS signal and a delay time of the TS signal from a differential measurement of the TSP counter.
