<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer power supply control system and a print management device for appropriately controlling the power supply of a printer where printing will be performed, based on a user's printing history. <P>SOLUTION: An output history regarding print jobs output from a print spooler 23 is stored in an output history database 26. When a print job is received from a client PC 10, a printing terminal that a user sending the print job uses and the date and time of use are predicted based on the output history.
