<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soda lime-based glass composition in which, for obtaining a high transmission rate, the content of the total iron oxide is limited, CeO<SB>2</SB>is not contained, and the transmission rate can be increased when ultraviolet ray is irradiated. <P>SOLUTION: The soda lime-based composition contains iron oxide, wherein the content of the total iron oxide expressed in terms of Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>(T-Fe<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>) is 0.001 to 0.04 mass%, and the content of the total titanium oxide expressed in terms of TiO<SB>2</SB>is 0.075 to 0.5 mass%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
