<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-chamber type air conditioner capable of preventing complete accumulation of a liquid refrigerant condensed in an interior of an outdoor heat exchanger by an inexpensive configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-chamber type air conditioner is composed of one outdoor unit 2, and a plurality of indoor units 4a, 4b connected to the outdoor unit 2 via refrigerant piping 3. The outdoor unit 2 is equipped with a capacity variable type compressor 6, a four-way valve 7, the outdoor heat exchanger 10, an outdoor heat exchanger temperature sensor 11 detecting a temperature of the outdoor heat exchanger 10, and an outdoor heat exchanger outlet temperature sensor 12 detecting a temperature of an outlet of the outdoor heat exchanger 10. If a difference between the temperature and the outlet temperature of the outdoor heat exchanger 10 is a predetermined value or less after passage of a predetermined time during cooling operation, the frequency of the compressor 6 is temporarily increased, and complete accumulation of the liquid refrigerant condensed in the interior of the outdoor heat exchanger 10 can be avoided while allowing accumulation of excessive refrigerant for a certain time period in the outdoor heat exchanger 10 by an inexpensive configuration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
