PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information carrier in which the genuineness of an image printed thereon can be distinguished due to an effect that the image printed on the carrier varies depending on a viewing angle. SOLUTION: In the information carrier, a first image is printed with a metallic glossy ink having a different color from that of a substrate on a printing region of one surface of the substrate such as paper and a card, and then a second printed image which includes a line pattern of a transparent ink containing an iris color pearl pigment wherein the direction of the line pattern of an image is different from that of the line pattern of a background part is laminated thereon.
