<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening block capable of relatively easily raising plants in spite of being producible at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: This greening block includes an upper layer 10 and a lower layer 20. The upper layer 10 is made of innumerable large-diameter aggregates 1 obtained by crushing a waste tile material at a 5-10 mm average particle diameter, and hyaline 5 binding each of the large-diameter aggregates 1 while securing a space 1a between each of the large-diameter aggregates 1. Lawn grass is raised on the surface of the upper layer 10. The lower layer 20 is made of innumerable small-diameter aggregates 3a and 3b obtained by crushing waste tiles at a 1-4 mm average particle diameter, and hyaline 5 binding each of the small-diameter aggregates 3a and 3b while securing a space 3c between each of the small-diameter aggregates 3a and 3b.
