<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain favorable printing quality by suppressing the fluttering of paper running opposingly parallel to the nozzle width region of an inkjet head. <P>SOLUTION: In a recording device having printing units 7 and 7', each of which prints paper 2 running in a paper passage formed archwise by a plurality of guide rollers 12a-12h with a plurality of the inkjet heads 6a-6d and 6a'-6d', an on-demand type inkjet head having the nozzle width region comprising of a plurality of nozzle trains in a paper running direction is employed in the inkjet head and the paper passage opposing to the nozzle surface of each inkjet head is formed by the two guide rollers 12a and 12b located on upstream side and on downstream side and let respective end portions on upstream side and downstream side in running direction of paper of the nozzle width region L of each ink-jet head occupy positions, which are positions between both the rollers inside from respective contact points coming in winding contact with the guide rollers and, at the same time, nearer as possible to respective contact points. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
