<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can improve visibility and operability in an operation section while effectively using a space in a case. <P>SOLUTION: The operation section 11 is arranged in a position of the height of an image reading section 6 with an operation surface which faces upward. The operation section 11 is rotated downward after pulled out horizontally to a maximum pull-out position to the operating side and a display/input unit 101 is made to stand vertically. Thus, a liquid crystal display section 102 of the display/input unit 101 is made visible from a front surface side, and setting and operation through the display/input unit 101 are become possible from a low position. The case without a curved surface below a pulling out path of the operation section 11 can be adapted and storing efficiency for equipment at the space in the case is more improved than in the case that the operation section 11 is rotated to be slid while rotating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
