<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the security of inputting the PIN code to a user-side terminal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An intelligent cipher key apparatus includes: a storage module for storing a setting PIN code; a liquid crystal display for displaying candidate characters and selected markings; a selective acknowledgement unit for selecting a character to be compared from the candidate characters by controlling the selected markings of the liquid crystal display; a comparison module for comparing the character to be compared selected by the selective acknowledgement unit with the setting PIN code stored in the storage module; and an information security module for performing information security operation under the confirmed access right of the character to be compared passing the authentication of the comparison module.
