<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image having uniform sharpness in appearance, when viewed as a display image as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: The image correction device 330 in a projection system which projects images generated by a plurality of image generation means (first image generation unit 110 and second image generation unit 120), having an optical modulation element on the projection surface and superposes and displays a plurality of images on the projection surface, includes: a pixel deviation calculating part that calculates pixel deviation, at least at a part of feature points out of a plurality of feature points, on the basis of picked-up image data obtained by picking up an image for pixel deviation calculation, having the plurality of feature points projected on the projection surface; a filter-acquiring part that acquires a smoothing filter, based on the calculated pixel deviation for each of at least a part of feature points out of the plurality of feature points; and a filter-applying part that applies the acquired smoothing filter to the image data, corresponding to the image which should be projected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
