PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel member for a machine which is capable of ensuring the high rigidity and sufficiently suppressing the vibration even when the plate thickness is reduced for weight reduction, and manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: In the panel member without any bead working, a portion forming a loop of the vibration in the secondary mode is referred to as X. Recessed or projecting beads A1, A2 are formed in two portions separated by the portion X or in a portion including the portion X. Each of the beads A1, A2 consists of a center face part a<SB>1</SB>formed of a bottom part of the recessed bead or a top part of the projecting bead, and an inclined part a<SB>2</SB>formed in an inclined surface shape or in a stepped shape between an outer peripheral edge of the bead A and an outer peripheral edge of the center face part a<SB>1</SB>.
