Ž<P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator 1 has a storage compartment 2 formed in the refrigerator 1, and a decompressed storage compartment 24 provided in the storage compartment 2 and decompressed to a pressure lower than the atmospheric pressure. It is characterized by that the antibacterial component discharging cassette 80 containing a volatile antibacterial agent 81 is provided in the decompressed storage compartment 24, discharge of an antibacterial component is suppressed in the volatile antibacterial agent 81 when the decompressed storage compartment 24 is in an atmospheric pressure state, and more antibacterial components are discharged in a pressure state lower than the atmospheric pressure than in the atmospheric pressure state.
