PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing having superior productivity and assemblability, reduced in noise and vibration, and reduced in the possibility of seizure and galling. SOLUTION: This rolling bearing 21 includes an outer ring formed by circumferentially arranging a plurality of divided outer ring parts 25a, 25b, a plurality of rollers 23 rolling on the raceway surface of the outer ring, and a resin retaining ring 11a formed by cutting an annular member at one position in the circumferential direction, disposed on the outer diameter side of the outer ring so as to be brought into contact with the outer ring, and restricting the radial movement of the plurality of divided outer ring parts 25a, 25b.
