<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for shortening the processing time of correcting processing of correcting an image. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A raster data creating section 90 creates, from received image information, image data (raster data) for drawing for showing an image shown by the image information as a value for each pixel. The image shown by the raster data created by the raster data creating section 90 is divided into a plurality of predetermined regions, and a correction determining section 92 determines whether correction is required for the image in each region. An image correcting section 94 corrects the image in the region determined to require the correction by the correction determining section 92 based on the corrective information corresponding to the region stored on an HDD (Hard Disk Drive) 76.
