<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant and metal-coated cloth that has excellent electromagnetic wave shielding properties, sufficient flame retardance and adhesiveness, weak tack force and is suitable as a gasket component for shielding electromagnetic waves, a method for producing the same, and a gasket for shielding electromagnetic waves. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The metal-coated cloth includes a coating film composed of a composition (D) comprising flame retardant particles (A) having a specific gravity of ≥1.0 and <3.0, flame retardance particles (B) having a specific gravity of ≥3.0 and <8.0 and a thermoplastic adhesive (C) having a softening point of 50-130°C, on at least one side of the metal-coated cloth.
