<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label sticking apparatus for an envelope capable of constantly and stably sticking a name and address label to a predetermined position of an envelope. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The label sticking apparatus for an envelope includes an envelope feeding mechanism 3 for transferring envelopes 1 in sequence in a specified direction, a label feeding mechanism 4 for feeding mailing labels 2A each having an adhesion layer on the back surface and a label guide 5 for guiding the mailing label 2A under an inclined state in compliance with a moving direction of the envelope 1 when the mailing label 2A strikes against the envelope 1.
