<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling effect of a refrigerant in a compression stroke of a compression mechanism, in a refrigerating apparatus including an oil supply pipe for supplying refrigerating machine oil separated by an oil separating mechanism to the compression mechanism to cool the refrigerant in the compression stroke of the compression mechanism. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 includes a refrigerant circuit 10 having a compressor 21, an oil separator 22 for separating the refrigerating machine oil from the refrigerant compressed by the compressor 21, an outdoor heat exchanger 24, an indoor heat exchanger 52 and the oil supply pipe 41 for supplying the refrigerating machine oil separated by the oil separator 22 to the compressor 21 to cool the refrigerant in the compression stroke of the compressor 21. A refrigerant supply pipe 27 for branching part of the refrigerant circulating within the refrigerating circuit 10 and supplying the branched refrigerant to the compressor 21 is provided in the refrigerant circuit 10. When the refrigerating machine oil separated by the oil separator 22 is supplied to the compressor 21 through the oil supply pipe 41, the refrigerating machine oil flowing in the oil supply pipe 41 and the refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant supply pipe 27 are mixed and supplied to the compressor 21.
