PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flea catcher for an animal which is capable of surely removing fleas from an animal body and of surely recovering the removed fleas. SOLUTION: The flea catcher includes a comb 3 with its comb teeth 2 for removing fleas from an animal planted in a base member 3a of the comb in a manner protruding therefrom in the forward direction, and a storing chamber 12 for storing fleas combed out by the comb teeth 2 with its recovery port 4a disposed behind the comb teeth 2 of the comb 3. The base member 3a of the comb 3 is tilted in a manner causing a teeth-planting surface 3c to form an obtuse angle relative to the axial direction of the comb teeth 2, which teeth-planting surface 3c is formed from the base part 2c of the comb teeth 2 up to the recovery port 4a of the storing chamber 12, and the front end of the teeth-planting surface is disposed within the range of the diameter of the comb teeth 2.
