SOFTWARE METHOD FOR REDUCING STANDING-BY POWER CONSUMPTION OF RADIO FREQUENCY SIM CARD

A software method for reducing standing-by power consumption of a radio frequency (RF) subscriber identity module (SIM) card. The RF-SIM card includes a card body (200), a mobile phone interface module (201), a CPU (202) and a RF interface module (203). In the case of ensuring the normal function of the RF-SIM card, the time of low power consumption working state is prolonged, and the time for inquiring the RF and processing the RF, namely the time of high power consumption working state is reduced. In the mode of low power consumption (102), the RF state (103) is inquired punctually by the timing awaking function (103). It executes the RF data processing (106) if necessary, else it returns to the mode of low power consumption (102). This method reduces the standing-by power consumption of the card.
