<p>Intended is to reduce the size of an artificial leg adapter in the vertical direction and to enlarge the position adjusting ranges of artificial leg constituting members to be connected by the artificial leg adapter. The artificial leg adapter comprises a first joint portion, to which the connecting portion of a first constituent member of the artificial leg is inserted and jointed. Further comprised is a rail portion, which is formed integrally with the first joint portion, which extends in a direction perpendicular to the inserting direction of the connecting portion of the first constituent member thereby to protrude from the first joint portion, and which has such a first outer side and a second outer side as to form inclined faces having their spacing gradually increased along the inserting direction. Further comprised is a second joint portion, which can be jointed to the connecting portion of a second constituent member of the artificial leg. Further comprised is a slide portion, which is formed integrally with the second joint portion, which has a first inner side confronting the first outer side of the rail portion and a second inner side confronting the second outer side of the rail portion, and which can slide with respect to the rail portion such that the first and second inner sides and the first and second outer sides engage each other.</p> |
