摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve control performance by adjusting a vehicle characteristic model so that the vehicle characteristic model is converged to an actual vehicle characteristic in train automatic stopping control using the vehicle characteristic model. <P>SOLUTION: Two parameters of the vehicle characteristic model are prepared for a short-term use and a long-term use. The short-term parameter is adjusted on the basis of actual deceleration estimated by a vehicle characteristic estimation means during the travel control of a train. The long-term parameter between one station and the next station is adjusted during the stop of the train on the basis of the result of adjusting the short-term parameter between the station and a previous station. The vehicle characteristic model is adjusted on the basis of both long-term and short-term parameters, and thereby the vehicle characteristic model is adjusted to be converged to the vehicle characteristic. The model is adjusted in consideration of both the short-term and long-term changes in vehicle characteristic. When the long-term parameter is divided into a lapse parameter and an inter-station parameter.
