<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive colored composition having high sensitivity and an excellent pattern shape even when its dye content is high or film thickness is thick, and to provide a color filter by using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: This photosensitive colored composition contains a dye carrier formed of transparent resin and its precursor, a dye (except for carbon black), a photoinitiator expressed by a specific structural formula, and polyfunctional thiol.
