<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MMSE equalizer taking into account delays in the reception of signals from a plurality of users. <P>SOLUTION: A linear frequency domain MMSE equalizer is used which does not operate based on the assumption that all signals to be operated upon are received simultaneously, but in which time delays in reception of signals from different users may be known or can be measured or estimated, and which operates based on a matrix that allows to take MUI and IBI into account, in the case that signals from different users are not received simultaneously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
