<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter mounting structure of a gas passage for easily and detachably mounting a filter for preventing intrusion of foreign matters into a gas passage in a gas appliance, while being mixed in a gas. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This gas appliance 1 includes an inlet 3 mounted on a component plate 11 of an outer case 10 of the gas appliance 1, and a gas inflow section 23 disposed in the outer case 10 so that the gas is introduced from gas piping 6 through the inlet 3. The inlet 3 includes an outer connection port 32 projecting to the outside of the outer case 10 and connected with the gas piping 6 laid outside of the gas appliance 1, and an inner connection port 33 projecting to the inside of the outer case 10 and communicated with the outer connection port 32. The gas inflow section 23 includes a gas inflow section body 23a, and a movable cylindrical section 25 disposed at an inlet 3 side and axially slidably connected to the gas inflow section body 23a, and the filter 8 is received in the movable cylindrical section 25 disposed in the gas passage in the gas inflow section 23.
