PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular brake device capable of maintaining the vehicle stop condition without giving uncomfortable feeling to a driver. SOLUTION: When maintaining the vehicle stop condition, a wheel cylinder pressure control means reduces the indicating pressure of a flow rate control valve 49 to the predetermined value before the liquid pressure of a wheel cylinder WC is equal to or lower than the vehicle stop maintainable wheel cylinder pressure, and gradually increases the liquid pressure of the wheel cylinder by gradually increasing the indicating pressure of the flow rate control valve 49 by driving a pump P.
