<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery method of a corrosion inhibitor in an electric discharge machining device capable of reducing the running cost by recovering the corrosion inhibitor adsorbed to an ion exchange resin. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the recovery method of the corrosion inhibitor in a wire cut electric discharge machining device 1, in which the corrosion inhibitor added to a working liquid is adsorbed to the ion exchange resins 14, 15 performing an ion exchange treatment of the working liquid, and the adsorbed corrosion inhibitor is recovered from the ion exchange resins 14, 15, the adsorbed corrosion inhibitor is desorbed and recovered by passing a predetermined liquid to the ion exchange resins 14, 15 adsorbing the corrosion inhibitor.
