<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a small particle size toner having a sharp particle size distribution, without requiring a classification step, and to provide a toner or a two-component developer having a longer lifetime and capable of preventing void generation and toner spattering at transfer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The toner includes colored particles, formed by making agglomeration in a mixture of a resin particle dispersion in which resin particles are dispersed, a pigment particle dispersion in which pigment particles are dispersed, and wax particle dispersion in which the wax particles are dispersed. The pigment particles include at least a quinacridone pigment and a naphthol pigment, at a compounding weight ratio of 1:1 to 1:9, and the volume particle size distributions of a quinacridone pigment particle dispersion and a naphthol pigment particle dispersion are regulated to be within a certain range.
