PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce heat treatment temperature required for regulating of alloy. SOLUTION: A magnetic storage medium has a first magnetic layer film in which B element being low temperature diffusion material which starts diffusion by lower temperature heat treatment than high magnetic anisotropy material is added to CoPt or FePt being the high magnetic anisotropy material having high magnetic anisotropy, and a second magnetic layer film being a cap layer of the first magnetic layer film CoPtB or FePtB and having Ti being a material which promotes movement of B element being the low temperature diffusion material.
