SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR VEHICULAR RESIN WINDOW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure for vehicular resin window in which a resin window can be supported sufficiently and securely using a simple structure and the resin window can be raised and lowered smoothly and precisely.

SOLUTION: The resin window 2 includes a plate-shaped body portion 21 and a gear projection portion 23 that is molded integrally with the body portion 21 so as to project in a thickness direction of the body portion 21 from a rear end portion of the body portion 21. A part of a side face of the gear projection portion 23 is surrounded by a gear-side guide frame 4 for guiding the raising/lowering of the resin window 2. The gear projection portion 23 includes a meshing gear 24 provided along a vertical direction to mesh with a drive gear, and positioning members 25 provided respectively on upper and lower end portions of the gear projection portion to abut on an inside surface of the gear-side guide frame 4. When the drive gear is rotated, the positioning members 25 slide relative to the inside surface of the gear-side guide frame 4, and thus the resin window 2 can be raised or lowered along the gear-side guide frame 4.
