PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device of a vehicular transmission capable of sufficiently discharging oil in a discharge oil pressure supply circuit of a sub pump even if abnormality occurs in the sub pump, a control valve, etc. SOLUTION: The hydraulic control device includes a mechanical main pump 21, an electric sub pump 42 for supplying oil to a specific operating pressure passage part 31d, a secondary regulator valve 32 for responding to hydraulic pressure from the main pump 21 to the passage part 31d and hydraulic-controlling while flowing the oil to the downstream side from the passage part 31d, and a relief valve 39 for responding to the oil pressure supplied from the sub pump 42 to the passage part 31d and allowing the oil to flow from the passage part 31d to the downstream side when the oil pressure reaches set pressure of the low-pressure side while regulating a flow to the opposite direction. When the oil pressure of the passage part 31d reaches set pressure of the high-pressure side, the secondary regulator valve 32 lets the oil which is supplied from the sub pump 42 to the passage part 31d flow to the downstream side from the passage part 31d.
